GMUN Scrimmage September 1-2, 2018

        We are happy to announce our first ever MUN Scrimmage at Granada! On September 1st and 2nd from 8:00am to 3:00pm Granada will host a small conference for local schools to get back in gear for the MUN season. All schools are welcome to come participate and get feedback from CSUN's award-winning collegiate Model UN team. The committees this year are as follows:

  • UNHRC- The Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen (beginner friendly, but not Novice)

  • DISEC- Violent Non-state Actors

​

 To participate in the scrimmage, sign up for it in the events section of our website. Make sure to mention how many delegates are attending and how many positions from each committee you would like! If you decide to bring more delegates later, just mention it in the comments when registering again. Hope to see you there!

Position Papers

         If you would like feedback on position papers, please turn them in on August 25 by 11:59 pm in pdf format to ghcmodelun@gmail.com. They should be one page long single spaced in TNR size 12 and include Background, Past UN Action, Country Policy, and Solutions. Don't forget to do citations in MLA format!
