Tryout (Date: TBD)
The tryout is a mock conference which consists of a one page research paper and a 4 hour conference to be held on a Saturday. A candidate will be paired with a partner and will be given several weeks to prepare during regular meeting hours. There is no prerequisite experience or course needed, though taking IB Global Politics could serve as useful supplementary help. Performance will not be evaluated, only the effort made in trying to succeed. Good luck!
Time and Participation Obligations
We meet at B7:

Tue - Thur from 3:30 to 5pm (mandatory attendance for 2 meetings)

the week of a conference, Mon through Fri, from 3:30 to 5pm

the Saturday before a conference from 9am to 1pm

Only those who participate during meetings will be picked to go to conferences.
